Welcome! So glad you’re here.

My name is Catherine and although I am “mature” in years I still feel like a kid on an adventure as I journey through life. I’m a mother of two sons, a grandmother of five: two boys and three girls, and they are all the loves of my life. Who knew being a grandma could be so much fun!

I am passionate about personal transformation – always have been and always longed for it and searched for a way to make it happen. But when it finally happened to me in August 2000 it looked a whole lot different than I had anticipated. Much to my surprise I met Jesus! And He transformed my life. Before I knew Christ I sneered at and made fun of Christians. I believed they were all a bunch of dorks – weak-minded and deluded individuals who needed a crutch to get through life. Now, ironlically, I count myself among those dorks; and I know that faith in Christ is not a crutch or a delusion. It is, rather, a personal and intimate relationship with a Person who is alive and real – today.

I’m not much of a talker most of the time, especially when it comes to chitchat, but I love to have deep conversations about life. If you care to take the time, I have lots of stories to tell you about what I used to be like, what God has done in my life, and what I’m like now. And about what I’ve learned along the way and what God is teaching me now. I would love to hear your story too. You can use the comment section at the bottom of the page to share if you care to.

My purpose and my hope in writing this blog is that my stories of God’s  grace and love will encourage you on your own journey and inspire you to see your life from a different point of view: just how precious and unique – and loved – you truly are by the Creator of heaven and earth (Colossians 1:16).

Since Jesus came into my life and gave me a new heart, I have spent much of my time trying to help people who are homeless, addicted, in prison, abused, or impoverished access the help that is available – especially that which comes from heaven. My mission has been to help others who are lost and hurting understand that God loves them, because it is His love that heals us.  I have prayed with people and have witnessed countless miracles of healing and transformation in many of their lives.

Because of my passion for God and my amazement at at all that He’s done and is doing in my life and in the lives of others, everything I share will be about faith and spirituality. Whether or not you are a believer – and especially if you’re not – I hope you will join me on this journey of discovery as we seek to learn and grow in the knowledge of who we are and who He is.
