My love for you is inexhaustible…

I went for prayer at the Healing Rooms yesterday and was so blessed by the Lord’s handmaidens Alice and Landy. When Alice anointed my head with oil Landy said she saw the Holy Spirit, in the form of a dove, come down and light on my forehead.

The day before, during my quiet time, I heard the Lord say to me, “You are My beloved daughter in whom I am well pleased.” So Landy’s vision was unexpected confirmation that I had heard correctly.

But the morning after my visit to the Healing Rooms I began to doubt. I thanked God for the words He had spoken over me and for the confirmation that Landy’s vision had given me, and then I questioned Him. “Those are the same words You spoke over Jesus when He was baptized. How can it be that You would honour me in the same manner?” (See Matthew 3:16-17 for the scriptural reference.) And I heard:

“My child. My love for you is boundless. You cannot fully know it now for it would overwhelm your senses, but I love you as I love My Son Jesus. Are you not “in Christ”? Are you not a part of His body?

“It is not because you have earned it – although I am well pleased with you. I love you without condition. My love is not based on expectations. It is not a reward for your goodness or for how hard you have worked. You must let go of this kind of thinking.

“Am I a man that I would love as a man does? No, My love for you is inexhaustible, unfailing, never tiring. I do not grow weary of you. I rejoice in your growth and accomplishments but My love is not earned by them.

“Be at peace, little one. Just accept the anointing which I have placed on you by My Spirit. It is not heavy. It does not mean that you are now expected to perform. It is an act of love on My part, a sign that you belong to Me. You are Mine, and I am so happy!”

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
